Sheikh Zohaib Rafique Sethi, senior vice president of the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI), said on Sunday that the “Al Rihla” football created in Sialkot would be used in Qatar for the FIFA World Cup 2022.
Speaking to APP, the SCCI SVP stated that it was a wonderful honor and source of pride for Sialkot and even Pakistan because a leading exports company headquartered in Sialkot, “Forward Sports,” had developed “Al Rihla” football for Adidas, which will be officially played at the FIFA football World Cup-2022.
He claimed that the brand “Forward Sports” would be utilized in the FIFA World Cup for the third time. He said that the design of football would reflect Qatari culture. According to Zohaib, the world is currently shifting toward sustainability, and the materials utilized in its production are bio-based recycling materials.
According to him, water-based chemicals that do not contaminate the environment were utilized to make footballs instead of solvent-based chemicals.
He said that the 20-panel ball was rated as one of the top footballs in the world.
The 2014 World Cup marked the first time “thermos bonding,” a novel technology, was used to stitch footballs, which had previously been hand-stitched during the World Cup. According to the SCCI SVP, the Sialkot industry would continue to contribute fully to boosting Pakistan’s economy.
To succeed in a job interview, you must be able to think quickly under pressure. While some people thrive on adrenaline, it makes sense that some people find the nerves difficult. While working in the fashion industry can be exhilarating, it can also be challenging to find employment. Because it’s a cutthroat field, there will probably be a long line of applicants for any given position. As a result, it’s imperative that you succeed in getting your ideal fashion career. You should put work into developing a strong CV, an appealing portfolio, and a commitment to meticulous interview preparation.
Here are some tips for a successful fashion job interview:
Be confident and make eye contact
First impressions matter a lot. With a confident stride, a warm smile, and a good posture, enter the interview space. Even though you might be feeling anxious, try to maintain your composure and project confidence. In an interview, eye contact is extremely crucial. When speaking with your interviewer, try to keep your eyes fixed on them. People who avoid making eye contact may come out as distant and uninterested.
Sell yourself
Keep in mind that there are probably other applicants vying for the same position, so you must make yourself stand out. Sell yourself by outlining your qualifications for the position and your enthusiasm for a career in fashion. But be careful not to overdo it or you can come across as haughty.
Be descriptive, be detailed
Detail is what interviewers want to hear. Vague responses simply won’t do. Answer questions in a descriptive manner and use personal anecdotes to support your points. Discuss your team, your goals, your accomplishments, and your abilities. Sharing specifics demonstrates your abilities and that you are knowledgeable, even if your interviewer doesn’t ask for it.
Ask memorable questions
A successful interview involves both you and the potential employer asking questions. Ask pertinent questions to your interviewer whenever possible, and don’t forget to save one at the conclusion.
Know what the next steps are, and say thank you
Find out what the next steps in the procedure are after the interview. You have the right to inquire as to whether they have other applicants waiting to be interviewed and when you can anticipate learning whether you were successful or not. Always, always thank the interviewer for their time as you wrap up the conversation. Politeness is important.
The Pakistani government banned an Oscar contender for having extremely offensive content.
Pakistan’s Oscar entry for this year, Joyland, which the government banned yesterday due to its “extremely offensive material,” is now being demanded by celebrities in Pakistan.
Joyland, directed by Saim Sadiq, was banned on Saturday by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MoIB), which claimed that it violated the Islamic Republic of Pakistan’s societal norms.
Numerous people and famous celebrities have called for the release of the film after the notification became viral.
Sarwat Gilani, a member of the Joyland cast, criticized those ‘campaigning’ against the film who haven’t even seen it. Additionally, she urged that the MoIB reverse its decision.
Osman Khalid Butt, a well-known Pakistani actor, also tweeted in favor of the film.
Twitter users are clamouring for the release of the film using the hashtag #ReleaseJoyland, and this demand is echoed online.
The future of the company has never been less certain two weeks after Elon Musk completed his purchase of Twitter.
One of the most influential social networks in the world has fired half of its staff in the past week alone, alienated powerful advertisers, blown up key features of its product, then repeatedly launched and unlaunched other features meant to make up for it and experienced a departure of senior executives.
With additional senior departures, escalating confusion over fake verified accounts, and an unusually public censure from the US government on Thursday, the wild swings at Twitter only seemed to get worse.
It’s a startling turn of events for Musk, who paid $44 billion for the business, as well as for a platform used by some of the world’s most influential individuals, including presidents, CEOs, and the pope.
On Friday, it appeared like there might be no end to the inconvenience. Twitter has changed its position on the issue and announced that it would reintroduce a grey “Official” badge for a restricted group of accounts to help verify their identities. The choice was made as Twitter had to fight off a flood of fake verified accounts this week, some of which were posing as Nintendo, the pharmaceutical corporation Eli Lilly, former President Donald Trump, and others. These accounts came about because of Musk’s hasty decision to offer a blue check mark to any account user willing to pay $8 a month, without asking any questions, as he searches for new ways to monetize the platform.
Just two days after its formal launch, that premium subscription service was also abruptly terminated on Friday. The only place the add-on had been made available was in the Twitter iOS app, where the menu option to sign up for Twitter Blue had previously been present. When the corporation might reinstate the offering was unclear at first.
The grey “Official” label has come to symbolize the recent whiplash that customers, staff members, and marketers have gone through.
Musk abruptly tweeted that he had “killed” the feature, requiring colleagues to explain the reversal. The grey badges, which were designed to assist users to distinguish between authentic celebrity and sponsored accounts and accounts that had only paid for a blue check mark, went live on Wednesday.

Lahoris simply love their coffee, especially as winter approaches. Artisan Coffee has wide selection of beverages ranging from essential, signature black and white coffees, frappes and so much more. Aside from the enormous selection of coffees, this location is also suggested for the best kind of lunch. Try their three-cheese pizza and marinated olives and feta from small plates, as well as a Spanish latte over ice, if you plan on visiting.

Fresh and modern perspectives in interior design have become all the rage these days, especially when it comes to residential spaces. Eccentricity has made its way into modern aesthetics, particularly for those who think out of the box. Long gone are the days when basic furnishing and mundane layouts were the go-to’s for indoor areas. Interior designers have now decided to take things to the next level by making elaborate and meticulously curated inner spaces where inspiration comes alive. One such interior designer who happens to reside in Karachi is Amna Wali, who recently launched her flagship boutique, in DHA Phase 6. Amna Wali Boutique Interiors is an elaborate space unlike we’ve ever seen before which is precisely why we couldn’t get enough of her official flagship store launch.
Celebrities such as Adnan Siddiqui, Ahsan Khan, Urwa Hocane, Aijaz Aslam, and Angeline Malik amongst others were all present at the boisterous event to see the creative polymath’s vision come to life. Located in Lane 2, 5-C Bukhaari Commercial, Phase VI DHA, Amna Wali’s three-story boutique enraptured attendees through its vibrant and luxurious space. With immersive and imaginative rooms that are reminiscent of dreamscapes, the flagship store was created with thematic tones in each respective area. From dining tables to desks to bedroom layouts, the boutique had every style of bespoke furnishing with each section dedicated to a different living space requirement.
Bespoke furniture, ornamental pieces, eccentric design aesthetics, home accessories, and home textiles were all a part of Amna Wali Boutique Interiors. Our favorite among all pieces was the black dining table with floral patterns with gold borders alongside grey and gold chairs. Stunning chandeliers placed over a pristine staircase brought the entire boutique to life. Further, the Earth-toned sofa sets were striking enough to brighten up any room.
The entire design of the space was like an immersive experience on its own. Catered to an audience that admires sophisticated glamour, the boutique’s installments were nothing short of impressive. With meticulously crafted pieces of furniture and colors that range from earth tones to richer hues with gold paint, each curated piece tells a story of its own. A burst of creativity was evident in every room as each area took the viewers into a brand-new dimensional spot.
If you’re in Karachi and looking to enliven your living space, we highly recommend Amna Wali Boutique Interiors as the must-see place for all your interior needs.

After launching high-fashion collections, a lingerie line, a makeup brand, becoming a billionaire, and having a baby, megastar Rihanna is making a highly anticipated return to music this week, her reps said Wednesday.
The 34-year-old will debut a brand-new single named “Lift Me Up” on Friday, six years after her last solo release. It will appear on the soundtrack for the Marvel sequel “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”
It’s her first solo single since 2016’s ‘Love on the Brain’.
In collaboration with Roc Nation, Def Jam Recordings, and Hollywood Records, Rihanna is releasing a new single on her Westbury Road label. The song’s lead vocalist, who is also known for the songs “Diamonds” and “Umbrella,” shared a brief taste of the new music on her blog.
The statement was released just a few weeks after the NFL revealed that pop sensation Rihanna would headline the coveted Super Bowl halftime show in February. Since 2019 is almost over, Rihanna has been dropping hints about her upcoming ninth album, which she has promised will be “reggae-infused.”
Nevertheless, the Barbadian-born musician has been concentrating on other endeavours, such as being the first Black woman to lead a fashion company for the French conglomerate LVMH, which owns renowned labels like Givenchy and Fendi.
She welcomed her first child with rapper A$AP Rocky in May.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday, the two-day meeting of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), a global organisation that monitors money laundering and terrorism financing, will start today in Paris.
Along with other topics, the meeting will talk about removing Pakistan’s name from the Grey List. To represent Pakistan at the meeting, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar is already in Paris.
Ishaq Dar, Pakistan’s finance minister, expressed hope that his country will be removed off the Financial Action Task Force’s “grey list” just three days prior (FATF).
Dar also said that Pakistan had worked hard to exit the grey list. “A meeting is expected in a few days, and the government is hopeful that the country will come out of it,” he hoped.
This will be Raja Kumar, the taskforce’s new president, first FATF meeting as chairman.
It is important to note that Pakistan has adhered to both of FATF’s action plans in full. Islamabad has implemented 34 points under two different action plans. According to officials, Pakistan has met all requirements to end money laundering and financial assistance for terrorists.
At its most recent plenary meeting in March 2022, FATF decided to keep Pakistan’s name on its “grey list” and ordered it to take additional steps to investigate and bring charges against key commanders and leaders of UN-designated terrorist organizations for financing terrorism.
The FATF sent a high-level delegation to Pakistan from August 29 to September 2 to meet with the necessary officials and assess the country’s progress in meeting the requirements for removing itself off the grey list.
The group looked at how well government projects were implemented and sustained.
