Paperazzi attended BCW and it was three days of excitement, fun, meeting with people, designers and viewing the most beautiful collections firsthand. From newbies to old designers, all of them presented their collections and here are our top picks from three days of Bridal Couture Week.

Fahad Hussayn

Fahad Hussayn’s “The Collateral Convention” S/S 2024 collection at BCW was a reflection of the brand’s illustrious past. With stellar performances by Risham Faiz Bhutta, Justin Bibis, and Adnan Dhool, and showstoppers Maham Shajaffar, Mehwish Hayyat, and Zaviyar Ejaz, Hussayn’s solo show marked a spectacular start to BCW.

Nickie Nina

NickieNina’s “NICKIE” collection paid heartfelt tribute to the (late) Nickie Nazir, commencing with Nadia Jamil’s touching narrative of the two sisters, Nickie & Nina. The collection elegantly captured the essence of an era steeped in style and sophistication, featuring the stunning presence of Fouzia Aman, Nadia Jamil, and Vaneeza Ahmed as showstoppers.

Ahsan Nazir

Ahsan Nazir, an emerging designer, showcased “Embroidered Romance: Weaving Love in Couture” at BCW day 1. The collection resonated with femininity, modernity, and sheer beauty, highlighted by Pakistani film and TV actress Resham, who dazzled the runway in a captivating peach outfit, stealing the spotlight effortlessly.

Aneeka Ruknuddin

Aneeka Ruknuddin’s “Jugnoo” collection at BCW harmoniously blended handcrafted, hand-embroidered pieces, fusing traditional and modern aesthetics. Paying homage to the Nawabs of Loharu, the collection’s attention to detail, especially with matching pouches and handcrafted bags, drew admiration. Ayesha Omer, known as “khoobsorat,” graced the ramp as a showstopper, radiating stunning elegance.

HSY

HSY commemorated 30 years with the launch of “HSY Trousseau,” a brand offering affordable couture while upholding the signature luxe of HSY. The Finale Show on BCW day 3, featuring the comeback of Amna Babar, alongside Reema Khan and Mehwish Hayat, was an electrifying celebration.

Souchaj

Souchaj by Mehek Junaid presented “Runak Jhunak,” a collection bursting with color, weaving vibrant palettes, enduring silhouettes, and meticulous handcrafted details. With Somewhatsuper setting the tone and the captivating Sabeena Farooq as the showstopper, the Souchaj show was a delightful experience.

Ali Xeeshan

Ali Xeeshan’s “Machlee ke Kahani” collection artfully brought dreams to life, drawing inspiration from the enchanting underwater world. Voluminous silhouettes, captivating color palettes, and impeccable details showcased the range’s vibrant diversity. Featuring influencers Hemayal and Ali Aizat, along with showstoppers Nausheen Shah, Saleem Mairaj, Ushnah Shah and Naina Black, the entire scene was a joyous affair.

Rabia Wahab

Rabia Wahab’s “Naqash Khas” collection at BCW featured embroidered, block-printed, and embellished outfits, exuding vibrancy and uniqueness. The outfit worn by showstopper Zoya Nasir was particularly captivating.

Umaimah Mustafa

Umaimah Mustafa designed an exclusive collection for the Pantene Hair Show at the 21st edition of Pantene HUM Bridal Couture. Embracing the mantra of “simple is beautiful,” the collection, beautifully showcased by the Pantene girls.
