Hadiyya aazer is a marketeer, publicist , body positivity influencer , a mother and a wife. She has come a long way and has inspired lifes of many people with her determination and hardwork.

Did you stumble upon your career or was it something that you always wanted?

I always wanted to do something different and on my own terms. I started my career in teaching but very soon realized that it’s not my cup of tea. Working in a set pattern, fixed timings and a fixed routine was not what I wanted to do. My mind was always working in a creative way and I knew I couldn’t grow myself into a fixed routine. Even though earlier I didn’t know that I would end up being a marketer but it is definitely what I wanted to do and I love doing.

What was your “aha!” moment?

When a brand that I always wanted to work with approached me themselves to handle their PR and marketing. That was when in my mind I thought, “AHA, now I’ve actually achieved something”

Did you ever consider or experience a career change?

Yes, when I was into teaching I knew since the very first day that I cannot do it long term. I didn’t know back then what I wanted to do, but I definitely knew it wasn’t teaching.

When was time you felt completely discouraged and how did you push through it?

Yes of course a person after sometime feels drained out and discouraged, especially through my weight loss journey there were times I didn’t feel like working because physically I wasn’t strong enough,  but my support system, my husband, always motivated me to push through and overcome any stress or depression.

What was the best advice that your mentor gave you?

My mentor is my Doctor, Dr. KIQ who has not just been a doctor for me but a motivator who keeps me going. Whenever I am down he tells me to believe in myself and have complete faith in Allah and that’s how i can pass every obstacle and that’s how I keep going.

What are the top 3 things you cherish in your life?

My beautiful family, my supportive and loving husband, my son who has always understood how important work is for me though he is just 5 years old and of course my work.

What is #1 thing that is yet to be ticked off your bucket list?

To be able to motivate and influence more girls and women out there to believe in themselves.

What does nobody tell you about being the boss?

That being your own boss is not always as easy as it looks. Nobody tells you how hard it is to push yourself to achieve what you’ve always desired to.

Name on boss lady that you admire and how she still inspires you?

I am highly inspired by Huda Kattan who has not only made a mark in the beauty industry but also motivates millions of women out there. I wish I am able to do the same.

Describe a day in your life

A typical day is waking up at 6:30 am to send my son ,Shahzain to school and Aazer to work.. After that I sort things at home, respond to emails etc till the time comes to pick Shahzain up from school. After offering my Zuhr prayers and feeding Shahzain lunch I leave for my meetings which I try to wrap up max by 6 o’ clock so I can come home and have dinner with Family. My kind of work doesn’t really have fixed timings so at times I come home when my family is fast asleep. I usually like to end my day with having conversations about my day and work with Aazer and seek each other advices and also watch our favourite tv shows together.
