Tell us a little about yourself?
I would describe myself as an honest person, whatever’s in my heart is what come’s out, so in that way, I am a simple person.
Did you stumble upon your career or was it something that you always wanted?
Fashion designing has always been something that I have enjoyed all my life. For me, designing is more like catharsis and I have always been finding ways to express my creativity through different means.
Did you ever consider or experience a career change?
As I said before, I find Fashion designing therapeutic hence what is better than doing a job that does not only help you grow stronger as a person but you enjoy it too immensely.
Did you ever feel discouraged mid-way your routine? How did you push through it?
This is a “Never have I ever” kind of a situation in my case, I take discouragements as a challenge and seek my way through it only to come out stronger than before. Also, I have always had a very strong support system and it makes me feel content with whatever I have.
What are the top three things that you cherish the most in your life?
My family, friends and my work would definitely top this list!
What is the #1 thing yet to be ticked off your bucket list?
I would be honored to give as much as I can to people in need. There is nothing more satisfying than sharing your wealth with others.
What does nobody tell you about being the boss?
After being a boss I have realized that you cannot make everyone happy. What you like cannot be liked by everyone and that has made me experiment a lot in my field of work and I have tried broadening my paradigm to oblige others.
Name one boss lady that inspired you take your own path, and how did she inspire you?
My Mother – She is the one I look up to for everything; my absolute support system, strength and role model.
Describe a typical day in your life?
My day starts with a healthy breakfast with my family early in the morning. After getting done with my mom duties; my work day starts which usually revolves around meetings, continuous visits to my workshop and studio along with hassling through markets for purchasing things and research.

That would be Michelle Obama! She is the perfect example of beauty with brains. Even though her profession is not linked to fashion, I feel she is the kind of inspiration for boss lady!
What advice would you give to young girls who look upto you and have goals and dreams like you?
I would advise all aspiring designers to try to start from scratch because it helps in developing your own ideas and a signature style from the very beginning, which is important in order to succeed in the rapidly growing fashion industry.
